About Me

Mrs. Bauer
I consider it a privilege to be teaching DeSales Catholic School students. I earned a BS and a Masters of Science in Education from State University of NY at Buffalo.I have taught in Buffalo, Sweet Home, Kenmore, Detroit MI, and Guadalajara, Mexico. I am thrilled to help my students learn Pre-Algebra as well as 6th and 7th grade math at DeSales Catholic School since 1999. September 2013 I became AIS Math coordinator 3rd through 8th grade along with 7th grade lab teacher. I continue to teach 8th grade Pre-algebra students everyday and am fortunate to be able to also teach an extra lab class to these students every week. My husband and I are grateful for the education and opportunities that were given to our own children as graduates of DeSales. Every parent learns from their children and I am fortunate to not only learn from my own 3 children but also learn from my students everyday! I treat each one of my students as I would wish a teacher to treat my own children. My goal is to enable my students to understand but also enjoy math and realize MATH is POWERFUL!
